I help individuals (teens and adults), couples and families.
I help clients make meaning out of their emotions and move towards a more authentic, values-based life. I enjoy helping clients navigate the thinking patterns and behaviors that accompany trauma, anxiety, depression and eating disorders. I strive to cultivate a space where clients can foster the inner resilience they already possess.
I enjoy helping couples improve their communication patterns and deepen their emotional connections.
I also may include EMDR therapy in my offerings.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic bond. I create a therapeutic relationship where clients are free to share all facets of themselves. Through this bond, clients can both confront unwanted parts of themselves and embrace their strengths. Clients tell me Iām down to earth and easy to connect with.
My therapeutic approach incorporates CBT, DBT, mindfulness and attachment-based therapy.
I also believe in the healing power of creative expression. As an artist, I love to paint, sing, play guitar and write poetry. I find healing in creativity both for myself and for my clients.
